Our Story
From rural vocational training to Fortune 500 boardrooms — SkillTrain has always been about one thing: growing people.
The Origin
SkillTrain was founded in 2013 with a deeply human mission: to bridge the employability gap for India's underserved youth. We built vocational training institutes across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, and created one of India's largest free online vocational training channels on YouTube.
Over time, our work with organizations revealed a deeper truth — skills alone don't transform organizations. Leaders do. And so, SkillTrain pivoted to where the greatest leverage lies: leadership development, executive coaching, and people development for organizations that want to grow through their people.
Today, we work with startups, SMEs, large multinationals, and non-profits across the globe — bringing the same belief we've always held: invest in people, and everything else follows.
What We Stand For
These aren't words on a wall. They shape every programme, every coaching session, every conversation we have.
We believe development starts with being truly heard. We listen first — deeply, without agenda — before we offer any solution.
Our methodologies are grounded in evidence — from Blake & Mouton Grid theory to Marshall Goldsmith coaching to appreciative inquiry. We don't do fluff.
No two organizations are alike. Every engagement we design is contextualised to your culture, your challenges, and your people.
We are deeply committed to outcomes — not just outputs. We design for behaviour change that lasts long after the workshop ends.
Our CSR mission is active, not performative. We continue to offer free vocational training to underserved youth because development belongs to everyone.
We build relationships, not transactions. Our most meaningful client relationships span years — because that's where the deepest transformation happens.
